The Death of Osama bin Laden

When it was announced that Osama bin Laden had been killed, it came during a time when it was rare that I got to work with breaking news. I was and am incredibly honored to have designed this page.

Bin Laden dead (May 2, 2011)

New era dawns (May 3, 2011)
After getting the news of bin Laden's death into the Democrat and Chronicle just before deadline, we were able to use the next day's newspaper to bring a full report to our readers.
