Another year, another White House Correspondents' Dinner Guide. For 2013, POLITICO focused on the celebrities the event attracts and their motivation for showing up. With Ashley Judd being a big celebrity name in political news for a few months, she scored the Contents page.

This was also the first non-POLITICO Pro glossy magazine published since we shrunk the size of our magazines down from tabloid size to traditional magazine size. That was a project that I worked on during the first quarter of 2013, rebuilding templates while designing a visual language for our glossies that would work on a smaller scale.
